Copper Manganese alloy mainly composed of Copper, Manganese and Nickel. The CuMn alloy have high resistivity and narrow resistance temperature coefficient. The thermal emf against copper is low and it also have long term stable resistance, so the CuMn alloy is a kind of excellent precision resistance material. It is widely used as standard resistor, resistor parts and shunt resistor part.

The shunt mangnin also is called Manganin 43, it is similar to our 6J13. The 6J12 is same to Manganin 47.
The available diameter for the CuMn alloy wire is from 0.05mm to 8mm.
